Which problem set better prepares students for algebra and higher-level geometry?

## 1 comment:

I think this is probably how I would have answered the Connected question:

1) The radius is 7, squared is 49. Using pi as 3, I estimate: 49 * 3 = 147

2) If pi is 3.1: 49 * 3.1 = 151.9

3) If pi is 3.14: 49 * 3.14 = 153.86

4) If pi is 3.142: 49 * 3.142 = 153.958

5) If pi is 3.1416: 49 * 3.1416 = 151.9384

6) etc.

ad infinitum...Post a Comment
