A PRACTITIONER SITS WITH a child at a table in the corner of a room. She prompts him continually. The child tries to escape but he’s totally boxed in - by the practitioner, the table and the two walls. When he stands up, he’s pulled back down. When he wails and pounds, he’s prompted to get back on task. When he protests (“All done!”) his words are ignored. The session is not done until the practitioner decides it’s done.
